Internship in reliability testing for SiC-based power semiconductors (6 months) at Hitachi Energy's Semiconductors Packaging and Reliability Engineering team. On-site internship in Baden-Daettwil, Switzerland. Focus on developing a test setup for reliability investigations targeting threshold voltage stability of SiC MOSFETs under extensive cycling and accelerated aging; real-time aging monitoring; experiments on a double pulse tester with a 3.3 kV, 150 A half-bridge board. Includes measurement campaigns, data analysis, sensor/automation enhancements, and optimization of the half-bridge converter. Applicants must be pursuing a Master’s degree in electronics engineering, materials engineering, physics or related field; familiarity with electrical measurements and LabVIEW; programming in Python, C, or Matlab; fluent in English. Internship duration is six months.
