About the Role:

As a member of our team you will analyze, monitor, and help steering the investment portfolio of Allianz Trade, the leading trade credit insurance company. The team is in charge of setting the investment strategy and asset management, deciding on key topics like strategic and tactical asset allocation, fund selection, and performance monitoring across asset classes.

Key Responsibilities:

The trainee will have the following missions:

Prepare weekly market and portfolio overview

Monitor performance of the portfolio, and adequacy of strategy to financial goals and insurance investment and sustainability KPIs

Further enhance analysis methods, tools and reporting standards

Participate in external meetings to generate investment ideas

Assist portfolio manager on daily activities

Collaborate with other department units (Controlling, Treasury, Middle Office)

Profile/ Required Skills

Business school or engineering school or university with degree in Finance

Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (especially Excel/VBA and PowerBI)

Knowledge in Python

Interest in capital markets, portfolio management, and investments

Financial analysis and economics knowledge

Knowledge of Fixed Income markets would be a plus

Fluent in English, French is a plus
