Scope of Position
This analytical and detail-oriented individual, as part of the IT team, will support network administration, troubleshooting, and infrastructure initiatives. The IT Networking Intern will gain hands-on experience configuring and maintaining network hardware and software, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and monitoring network performance while developing an understanding of enterprise networking systems. This position provides practical experience, mentorship, and exposure to cross-functional collaboration while supporting projects and daily operations that contribute to reliable IT infrastructure.
This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Workplace Collaboration & End User Enablement. This role is hybrid and is based in Andover, MA.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in configuring and maintaining network hardware and software.
Support troubleshooting of network connectivity issues.
Monitor network performance and report anomalies.
Document network configurations and processes.
Collaborate with the IT team on projects and daily operations.
Demonstrate accountability by maintaining accurate documentation and following through on assigned network support tasks.
Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the Sr. Manager, Workplace Collaboration & End User Enablement or Company management.
Required Qualifications
Current student (sophomore or junior status).
Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Passionate about your work, with a genuine desire to contribute meaningfully and make an impact.
Demonstrated commitment to integrity and respect in interactions with others, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Strong sense of accountability, taking ownership of tasks and following through on commitments.
Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, including required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with routers, switches, and firewalls.

Working Conditions
While performing the job duties, you will be working in an office environment. You will be required to work in the office at the Andover, MA location three days per week (Monday–Wednesday) and can work remotely two days per week (Thursday and Friday).

Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to:
Ability to remain seated at a desk or workstation for extended periods.
Ability to physically move around the office, organize or transport files, packages, or other office-related materials.
Ability to read documents, use a computer, and perform data entry tasks.
Ability to communicate clearly with management and coworkers, particularly in meetings or phone calls.
Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, phones, and copiers.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
Ability to push and pull up to 20 pounds.
Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor.
Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
Pay Range
The expected hourly range for this position is $21–$23 hourly. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable law.
