Performs routine laboratory functions in a microbiology setting to assist laboratory staff and support production. Responsibilities include specimen receiving/labeling, pre-analytical preparation, LIS data entry, instrument maintenance, QA/QC, and maintaining equipment and work areas. Requires 1 year full-time experience in a technical or clinical laboratory. Shift schedule: Mon–Fri 3:00 PM–11:30 PM with rotational weekends; shift differential of 10% for some/all second-shift hours and 15% for some/all third-shift hours. Based in Royal Oak, MI. This role requires PPE and adherence to health/safety policies.
