Lifecycle and Engagement Marketing Intern - Summer 2027

Location: Detroit, MI

As a Lifecycle & Engagement Marketing Intern, you'll support our marketing team in developing and executing communication strategies that build meaningful relationships with our clients. You'll gain hands-on experience with email marketing, SMS, push notifications, and other marketing technology platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams. About the Role

Support the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns including email, SMS, and push notifications across multiple client lifecycle stages

Assist with building and refining client audience segments for targeted promotional communications

Help monitor campaign performance metrics and compile data insights for the marketing team

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support communication strategy development and testing initiatives

Learn and gain hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other martech tools

Assist the creative team with campaign messaging alignment and content organization

Support performance marketing testing and learning initiatives to increase campaign effectiveness

About You

Minimum Qualifications

Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a Bachelor's program in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Eagerness to learn marketing technology and platforms

Interest in data-driven insights to inform strategy and performance marketing testing

Curiosity about artificial intelligence and how to integrate AI tools into marketing workflows

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other marketing automation platforms

Experience with email marketing, SMS, push notifications, or other digital marketing channels

Familiarity with spreadsheets or basic data analysis

Interest in FinTech or financial services industry
