Responsibilities include implementing/porting algorithms from deep learning and audio signal processing; extending methods in music information retrieval (annotation, similarity, transcription, instrument recognition, chord/beat detection); exploring generative music AI (audio generation, melody generation, automatic mixing, generative AI detection and attribution); expanding graphical user interfaces & web interfaces (APIs); and manual annotation of audio, video and images. Requires experience with Python algorithm development and knowledge of DSP, ML, and DL; experience with C++ and web APIs/AWS is advantageous.
