Manufacturing Engineering Co-op (Winter 2027) in Macon, GA. 40 hours/week; 100% onsite. Responsibilities include Equipment Reliability and Uptime Improvement, Waste Reduction, Root Cause Failure Analysis, Preventive Maintenance, cross-functional collaboration (quality, safety, paper making), and working with vendors. Opportunity to conduct trials for new products and efficiency improvements; exposure to first Quartile assets in the Tissue Manufacturing business. Must be enrolled in a 4-year Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering program with at least 2 years completed; proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Co-op fee reimbursement up to $1000 and relocation costs if applicable; training and development opportunities; potential for growth within the J.D. Irving network.
