Packaging Engineering Intern (6-8 month Co-Op) in Orrville, OH. Hybrid work arrangement with 60% in-office expectations. Responsibilities include supporting the packaging lab to enable data-based decision making, contributing to sustainability goals, collaborating with Marketing, Procurement, Operations and Creative, performing packaging tests (Vibration, Drop, Side Impact, Compression, Tensile, Burst), maintaining technical documentation, and supporting production line assessments. Typical projects include sizing and testing packaging components, evaluating sustainable material options, paperboard tray redesign, label substrate changes, portion control sealing optimization, and warehouse pallet stacking optimization. Eligible candidates are sophomores, juniors, or seniors in Packaging Engineering with strong time-management, communication, and teamwork skills. Internship length options include 6-8 months (Jan–Aug or May–Dec) or a 3-month summer option.
