Part-time Research Assistant at the Central Pennsylvania Research and Teaching Laboratory for Biofuels (CPRTLB) to assist metabolic engineering of industrial hemp. Duties include preparing tissue culture media and explants under sterile conditions; dna, rna, and protein isolation; routine upkeep of the laboratory and greenhouse; collecting and analyzing data with potential co-authorship; assisting with cancer cell lines and engineering cannabinoid pathway genes in e. coli; and supporting the PI and Director of the laboratory with other duties.
