We are currently hiring a part-time paid intern. This paid internship is for a four-month period, 20 hours a week. The position is located at the Church Office Building in Salt Lake City, UT, and interns must be able to come into the office on a regular basis.

This internship supports the Member Communication Manager Team, helping coordinate strategic communication efforts across multiple audiences, programs, and campaigns. The intern will partner with Member Communication Managers to improve organization, coordination, documentation, and execution while gaining experience in communication strategy, project management, and campaign operations.

Assignments may include:

Coordinating project timelines and helping track deliverables across multiple communication initiatives

Maintaining awareness plans, communication plans, and other strategic documentation to ensure they remain current

Tracking campaign milestones, stakeholder assignments, approvals, and project status

Supporting campaign coordination across audiences, programs, and communication channels

Working alongside each Member Communication Manager to define strategy, organize projects, improve documentation, and standardize team processes and templates

Coordinating with the Member Insights to help organize measurement plans, analytics requests, and campaign reporting

Preparing presentations, reports, dashboards, and meeting materials

Preparing agendas, notes, and follow-up action items for stakeholder meetings

Identifying opportunities to improve team workflows, documentation, and project coordination

Assisting with other communication planning and coordination activities as assigned

To be eligible for this internship, you must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college or university, or have finished a degree within a year of starting the internship.

While we are open to all majors, we are particularly looking for those studying communications, public relations, marketing, media strategy, or other related fields. Additional desired qualifications include:

Sound understanding of Church doctrine and a love of the gospel of Jesus Christ

Strong writing and communication skills

Creative and strategic thinking

The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Attention to detail and accuracy

Professionalism and the ability to work well with a variety of people

A background or interest in communication strategy, marketing, project management, organizational communication, business analysis, or operations is a plus.

Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Comfortable organizing information, maintaining documentation, and following projects through completion.
