One-year COPA-STEP Legislative Science & Technology Policy Fellowship embedded in the Joint State Government Commission (JSGC) in Harrisburg, PA, starting Fall 2026. The Fellow conducts research, writes policy-relevant reports, and provides scientific/technical expertise on AI and related topics to help lawmakers. The fellowship begins with in-office work at JSGC for six months, followed by a hybrid in-office/telework schedule. Eligible candidates must have a Ph.D. or terminal degree; strong quantitative empirical research and data visualization skills are preferred, along with exceptional writing and the ability to communicate with nontechnical audiences.
