This position will also assist in managing the research lab and several ongoing research projects, mentoring students, and contributing to writing research grants for future grants and funding.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or related field from an accredited institution of higher education, conferred by the start of employment
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong research background in machine learning, computer vision, and/or robotics
Strong publication record, preferably including first-author papers at top-tier venues such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ICRA, MICCAI, or comparable conferences/journals
Strong programming skills due to hands-on experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to independently formulate research problems, develop methods, conduct experiments, and prepare high-quality research publications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Additional Information:
This position is renewable annually based on continued need for the position, availability of funding, and satisfactory job performance.
Salary Information:
