Process Control Engineering Intern located in Burns Harbor, IN. Responsibilities include software development across languages and hardware platforms, maintenance of hardware/software, automation system maintenance and problem solving, modifications to automation for new products, process modeling for mill processes, administration of operating systems and relational databases, and interaction with vision systems, thermal imaging, RFID and barcode tagging, X-ray and other gauging systems, and networking technologies. Requires enrollment in a BS program in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical degree, and completion of sophomore year by summer 2027. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The internship offers competitive pay with variable compensation and a comprehensive total compensation package, with potential for future full-time employment.
