The Registered Nurse assesses human responses and plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for individuals or families for whom the nurse is responsible. The RN is fully responsible for all actions as a licensed nurse and is accountable to patients for the quality of care delivered. This position is for the E8 Med/Obs/Telemetry unit at West Penn Hospital and includes leadership responsibilities, participation on interdisciplinary teams, patient safety initiatives, and ongoing professional development. Minimum qualifications: PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via the eNLC; CPR certification; Act 34/33/73 background clearances.
