RN extern performs routine duties in caring for hospitalized patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. May be cross-trained to operate as a Unit Secretary depending on unit needs. Education: currently enrolled in an accredited ADN or BSN program with up to 12 months to pass NCLEX after graduating. Licenses/Certificates: AHA BLS Certification.
