Senior Research Assistant (26270197)
The Academy of Wellness and Human Development is seeking highly motivated and experienced candidates to provide administrative support for the following duties:
Responsibilities:
The appointee will join a research project on supporting student engagement and self-regulation with AI-powered platform. The appointee will be expected to perform various duties:
Provide administrative and managerial support;
Assist the supervisor in the design and development of AI-powered platform;
Assist the supervisor in data collection, analysis, and production of project deliverables; and
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
A master’s degree or higher in the fields of Education, Computer Science, Data Sciences, Learning Analytics, or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines with 2 years’ full-time working experience;
Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in Large Language Models (LLM), including model training, fine-tuning, adaptation, or deployment;
Experience in integrating LLMs with smaller or task-specific models, developing AI agents or AI-powered systems, or building end-to-end AI platforms would be an advantage;
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required;
Highly self‑motivated, with strong initiative, have a strong sense of responsibility; and
Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative and interdisciplinary team.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one year, commencing from early November 2026. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
