THE ROLE

At the conclusion of this position, co-ops will have increased their knowledge of investing, the mutual fund industry, employee engagement, and a firm understanding of how information technology works at an asset manager.

MFS co-op positions are a 6-month commitment, working Monday – Friday (beginning on Wednesday, January 13th through Friday June 25th, 2027), and work between 35-40 hours.  Our program is designed for undergraduate students who are currently enrolled in a co-op program through their college or university and can meet our requirements.

Job Summary

Within the Enterprise Data Management department, work as an Investment Data and Data Governance Analyst supporting the Data Management and Governance team. This role is a shared role between the data management side of the team as well as the data governance side.

We are looking for a highly motivated co-op student to join our team as a Power Platform & Microsoft 365 Automation Developer. This role offers hands-on experience in building business process automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365 tools, with a special focus on developing intelligent Copilot agents using Copilot Studio.

Key Responsibilities:

Build low-code/no-code applications using Power Apps to support internal workflows.

Design and implement automated processes using Power Automate.

Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI for data-driven decision-making.

Assist in the development and deployment of Copilot agents using Copilot Studio to enhance user productivity and automate repetitive tasks.

Integrate Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook) into business solutions.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Document technical designs, workflows, and user guides.

Participate in testing, debugging, and optimization of automation solutions.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).

Exposure to Microsoft 365 tools and services.

Interest or experience in conversational AI or chatbot development is a plus.

Strong analytical and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Hourly Pay Rate: $21.00-$25.00
