Onsite/Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time (40 hours a week), in either a hybrid or onsite work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

We are seeking highly motivated Field Application Engineer Intern to join our team at AMD. In this role –

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve real-world problems using FPGA-based and x86 solutions.

Gain in-depth knowledge of FPGA hardware, x86 servers, software tools, and design methodologies.

Develop and present technical demos, proofs-of-concept, and training materials.

Work with cool technology like machine learning, signal processing, high speed serial I/O

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Currently enrolled in a US based University in a Master’s degree program majoring in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline

If you have knowledge / experience with any of the following technical skills (or related areas) and are enthusiastic about this role, we strongly encourage you to apply –

Highly motivated engineers with experience in digital design.

Engineers interested in technical sales who help customers get their designs done faster.

Exposure to Digital Design (VHDL / Verilog)

Exposure to CPU computer architecture

Familiarity with basic programming, data structures and algorithms

Exposure to OOP languages (C++ / System Verilog / etc.)

Exposure to Scripting languages (Perl / Python)
