On our two-year Global Supply Chain Graduate Programme, you’ll apply your scientific, engineering or digital knowledge to real manufacturing challenges while developing through rotations, training and mentoring.

What will you do?

Not every medicine or vaccine is made in our own factories. External Manufacturing is the team that delivers products through a global network of specialist manufacturing partners — making sure the right product is made to the right quality standard, in the right quantity, at the right time. It's a role that sits at the meeting point of quality, supply, technical and commercial: managing partner performance, safeguarding GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliance, planning supply, introducing new products and running the projects that keep the network resilient.  You'll be coordinating across GSK teams and external partners rather than running a single production line — which means broad exposure, real accountability and a direct line of sight to patients.

What you'll learn

The end-to-end external network — how GSK delivers medicines and vaccines through contract manufacturing partners worldwide.

How the functions connect — CMO (Contract Manufacturing Organisation) performance, GMP quality, supply planning, procurement, technical, regulatory and project delivery, and how they work together.

Launches and technology transfers — how new product introductions and network change projects are governed and delivered, from launch readiness to tech transfer support.

Project and risk management — identifying and escalating risks, managing milestones, supporting governance and communicating with senior stakeholders.

Digital and Smart Manufacturing — how AI, automation, data and decision intelligence are transforming external manufacturing.

Core capability foundations — GMP fundamentals, deviations and CAPA (Corrective & Preventative Actions), change control, planning and inventory, supplier relationship management, and influencing without authority.
