PRN Surgical Tech Extern at MUSC Health Chester Medical Center. Under general supervision, the Certified Surgical Technologist II functions as a member of the operating room team to prepare sterile supplies and equipment used in surgical procedures and perform appropriate room duties involved with direct patient care, with adherence to established procedural guidelines. Education: High School diploma or GED required, or current student of a technical college with accredited Surgical Technologist curricula. Licenses/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required. This is a PRN as-needed position; you must be available to work at least 1 full shift bi-weekly, as needed according to departmental demands, with possible additional hours and variable work hours.
