Hours: 31.25 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 38 weeks per year

Kingsfleet Primary School is seeking a passionate, caring and committed Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team.

This is a whole-school Teaching Assistant role; you will be working flexibly across the school according to the needs of our pupils and staff. We are looking for someone with relevant experience of supporting primary-age children and the ability to adapt their approach to different age groups, learning needs and classroom environments. Experience of working with younger children, including Reception-age pupils, would be beneficial.

has relevant experience of working with primary-age children

can work effectively and flexibly across different year groups

can build positive relationships and support children’s learning, wellbeing and independence

is patient, reliable, adaptable and works well as part of a team

understands safeguarding and inclusive practice

A relevant Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification and Paediatric First Aid training are desirable. Candidates must be willing to undertake appropriate training where required.
