Schaeffler Aerospace USA Corp. is seeking a Tooling Service Apprentice to join its Connecticut Registered Apprenticeship Program supporting aerospace manufacturing operations. This paid apprenticeship combines on-the-job learning with related technical instruction to develop tooling and precision machining skills. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings, performing precision measurement and inspection with gauges, micrometers, and calipers, and assisting with the construction, repair, and maintenance of tooling, fixtures, and production equipment, plus conventional machining processes (milling, turning, grinding). Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, demonstrated mechanical aptitude, enrollment in an approved machining/manufacturing program, and U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.
