You and Your Job As a Trade & Commodity Finance Summer Intern Analyst, you will work with Relationship Managers and Credit Analysts to support new business origination and the management of existing client relationships across agriculture, metals and minerals, and energy. You will help prepare pitches, sector analyses, credit materials, and portfolio reviews while learning how Trade & Commodity Finance products serve clients across global commodity markets.

Working alongside Relationship Management, Credit, Middle Office, Operations, and Trade Services, you will contribute to client and industry research, financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and ongoing portfolio monitoring. Through customer meetings and hands-on assignments, you will strengthen your analytical, communication, and collaboration skills while gaining exposure to a global business.

Job Responsibilities Support Relationship Managers and Credit Analysts with prospect identification, client pitches, and follow-up presentations.

Research commodity industries and assess market trends to support client coverage and business development.

Assist with credit analysis, financial modeling, cash flow projections, and the structuring of credit products.

Help prepare credit reviews, portfolio reviews, covenant checks, and recurring client information assessments.

Participate in client meetings and support ongoing portfolio monitoring, including the identification of potential early warning signals.

Be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, international business, or a related field.

Demonstrate excellent academic performance, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to learn.

Bring foundational knowledge of credit analysis, lending, or financial analysis.

Show strong computer skills and the ability to work confidently with financial information.

Communicate clearly and professionally in writing and in conversation.

Salary Expectations: Target Hiring Range: $49.50/hour

This position is subject to the terms of Rabobank’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons.
