Transportation Engineering Co-op - Infrastructure (Fall 2026/Spring 2027)

Your Opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivated Civil/Transportation Engineering Co-op for our Louisville, KY Transportation Engineering group.

This is the place where great ideas and rewarding careers can really take off. With a unique multidisciplinary team approach, we're equipped with state-of-the-art survey tools, simulation models, specialized design software, and computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) facilities. The ongoing success of our team allows you to set the pace of your career. This is a paid co-op with full-time hours during the semester. In person work is expected.

Your Key Responsibilities

Development of roadway, signing, marking, lighting, and signal plans using Microstation and OpenRoads

Project reports, documentation, quantity calculations, and general office assignments using Microsoft Office tools

Occasional field work

Your Capabilities and Credentials

Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office

Experience using Microstation and OpenRoads preferred

Must have a valid driver’s license

Position requires driving a company vehicle at times. A clean driving record free from significant or frequent driving offenses is required.

Education and Experience

Interested candidates should be working toward a degree in Civil Engineering. GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
