Welder/Structural Trainee – 3-week unpaid training program in Newport News, VA for individuals with no trades experience. 120 hours (Mon–Fri, 7:00am–3:30pm) at Virginia community colleges; trainees learn welding processes SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW and prepare for a welding career with Newport News Shipbuilding.
