Location: Hamburg, Germany Department: Students

In this role you will assist the team in the preparation, review and reconciliation of VSA and SCA financial settlements. You will maintain service data, long‑term schedules and allocation tables, monitor schedule compliance and work closely with NetEx to coordinate corrective measures.

Prepare, review and reconcile VSA and SCA financial settlements

Maintain up‑to‑date service data in internal systems

Update long‑term schedules and allocation tables for vessel operations

Monitor schedule compliance against agreed timelines

Coordinate corrective actions with the NetEx team

Support operators with data queries and reporting

Perform data quality checks and resolve inconsistencies

Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the department

Enrolled in a university program (e.g., Business Administration, Economics, Maritime Studies, or related field) with availability of approximately 12 months

Strong analytical and numerical skills

Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and familiarity with data management tools

Good command of English (written and spoken); German is a plus

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

High attention to detail and accuracy

Basic understanding of shipping industry terminology (VSA, SCA) is advantageous

Good communication skills for interaction with operators and NetEx
