To maximize in–person collaboration, Tuesday and Wednesday are considered anchor days, and all employees are expected to work in the office both days. Employees meeting performance expectations are generally permitted to select 2 other days per week to work remotely if desired. When working remotely, employees are generally expected to work from the state in which they reside, absent an exception approved by Human Resources. Additionally, OCC generally does not permit employees to work while traveling internationally.

About the Team & Role
The Business Systems Analysis (BSA) team is organized around three pillars: Clearing (clearing house services and data management), Risk (portfolio risk mitigation and risk calculation methodology), and Enablement (the underlying systems that support the entire suite of business applications). Each pillar is led by a Director of Business Analysis who oversees the analysts within that area. Across all three pillars, the BSA team is responsible for eliciting, defining, and maintaining requirements for their respective products, and for translating stakeholder needs into actionable, well-structured analysis outputs.
This role sits within the Enablement pillar, which supports six core areas: Platform Engineering (cloud asset management), Infrastructure Engineering (on-premises data center and network services), Platform Operations (operational asset and incident management), Security Services (system security posture and incident mitigation), Solutions/Enterprise Architecture (design standards and patterns), and Enterprise Technology Solutions (enterprise tool management). The Enablement team currently consists of 7 analysts, each aligned to a specialized area but capable of flexing across areas as needed, all reporting to the Enablement Pillar Lead.
A typical day for a BSA involves collaborating with stakeholders to elicit and refine product capabilities, translating those into clear and verifiable requirements, and partnering with product teams to clarify and validate those requirements. Once approved, analysts work with development teams to break requirements into Jira epics and user stories, then support the team through implementation — including solutions analysis, ongoing clarification, and test case/outcome verification. Analysts typically focus on one engagement phase at a time per engagement though may be working on multiple engagements simultaneously.
Job Summary & Responsibilities
The intern will work under the guidance of the Enablement Pillar Lead to research, document, and catalog the full range of products across the six Enablement support areas: Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Operations, Security Services, Solutions/Enterprise Architecture, and Enterprise Technology Solutions. This work will build a comprehensive product inventory comparable to the existing catalogs maintained for the Clearing and Risk pillars.
Core responsibilities include:
Researching and cataloging all products and tools within the six Enablement areas, with guidance from the Pill
