Automation Engineer Apprentice (AEA) will learn to troubleshoot and maintain material handling equipment (conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print/apply labeling systems, scales, HMI systems, and control cabinets) while working with complex high-performance manufacturing systems. The role focuses on safety compliance, installation, maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance to ensure high equipment availability, with on-the-job learning and mentorship. Apprentices are paired with journey workers across facilities, including high automation/robotics environments, and will participate in a 12-week training followed by a 2-year onsite apprenticeship post-training.
