THE POSITION
Are you looking for an exciting internship experience? Our paid Internship Program offers real-world exposure for students interested in the live entertainment industry. Throughout the program, you’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of the live event business while applying your academic knowledge to real-world situations. You’ll also strengthen your leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills along the way.
This part-time position requires 15–25 hours per week. Interns are expected to work in our Austin office Tuesday through Thursday, so please ensure your availability aligns with these days. The internship runs through the 2027 Spring semester, beginning January 19, 2027, and concluding May 6, 2027.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Manage calendars, including scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments, and other obligations
Take meeting minutes or notes, create agendas, and assist with meeting preparation
Coordinate with vendors and submit required paperwork as needed
Research, develop, and assist with implementing sustainability initiatives
Support department staffing activities, including organizing and maintaining offer letters, timecards, and reimbursements
Assist with miscellaneous tasks in the office and on-site, as requested
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Gain knowledge and perspective within the Site Operations department
Learn the essential roles and responsibilities involved in laying the groundwork for successful C3 festivals and live events
Apply academic learning and internship experience to real-world situations
Strengthen leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
This role requires you to be in our Austin, TX office
Previous experience preferred (school, internship, or professional)
Creative thinker and problem solver
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and initiative
Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Exercises sound judgment with professionalism and discretion
Able to commit to 15-25 hours per week, with in-office availability Tuesday through Thursday
Ability to bring a personal laptop to the office
