A Driver Trainee will be trained by Republic Services to obtain a CDL and transition into a Driver role. The program includes classroom study, on-route training, driving experience, and loan of a truck; after obtaining a CDL, the trainee will move into a Driver position in one of the company’s lines of business. The role requires twelve months of employment after CDL issuance and includes safety training and route operations.
