Job Summary

Acuity’s Internship Program is a 10–12 week summer experience open to college students. During this paid program, students gain hands-on experience, learning through meaningful work while exploring future career opportunities.

Interns work on real projects, build relationships across the business and gain exposure to leaders, teams and functions throughout Acuity. Internships serve as an important early-career pipeline, helping students explore future opportunities at Acuity, including the BUILD program and full-time roles.

BUILD is Acuity's two-year rotational development program for recent graduates, designed to provide hands-on experience, structured development, and exposure to career opportunities across the business.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

While specific projects and activities vary during your internship, you can expect to:

Gain hands-on experience in Finance Transformation, Product Management, and Agentic AI.

Apply AI and analytics to improve financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and business decision-making.

Support the design, testing, and enhancement of AI agents, copilots, and intelligent automation solutions.

Collaborate with Finance, Data, and Technology teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into product capabilities.

Analyze reports, dashboards, and data to identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and modernization.

Own project deliverables and present insights, recommendations, and outcomes to business and technology leaders.

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

Minimum Requirements

Relevant prior work or internship experience in finance, accounting, financial systems, technology, consulting, or related business functions.

Minimum GPA of 3.0

Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent time management, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills

Experience driving results in ambiguous and fast-paced environments

Familiarity with agile delivery and product development processes preferred

Additional Qualifications

Coursework, projects, research, internship, volunteer, or leadership experience in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, Product Management, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into solutions.

Interest in Finance Transformation, digital products, automation, and emerging AI technologies.

Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
