Job Summary

Acuity’s Internship Program is a 10–12 week summer experience open to college students. During this paid program, students gain hands-on experience, learning through meaningful work while exploring future career opportunities.

Interns work on real projects, build relationships across the business and gain exposure to leaders, teams and functions throughout Acuity. Internships serve as an important early-career pipeline, helping students explore future opportunities at Acuity, including the BUILD program and full-time roles.

BUILD is Acuity's two-year rotational development program for recent graduates, designed to provide hands-on experience, structured development, and exposure to career opportunities across the business.

This is a hybrid role based in the Atlanta, GA and starts employment on June 7, 2027. Travel is included as part of the responsibilities.

As a Product Management Intern, you’ll use strategic thinking, analytical skills, and leadership capabilities to advance product initiatives across digital platforms and enterprise systems. You can expect to be part of:

Product Strategy & Vision: Support the development of product strategy, long-term roadmaps, and platform evolution to enable scalable, modern technology solutions.

Market & User Insights: Conduct user interviews, competitive research, and market assessments to identify opportunities and validate product direction.

Business Case Development: Evaluate product initiatives through ROI analysis, business case modeling, and impact assessments to guide prioritization.

Product Requirements & Execution: Translate business goals into product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with engineering and design teams.

Agile Product Delivery: Participate in agile ceremonies, help track sprint progress, and support incremental product releases.

Stakeholder Alignment: Work with cross-functional partners in Operations, Technology, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment, remove blockers, and drive delivery.

Measurement & Reporting: Define success metrics and support measurement of product performance, adoption, and business impact.

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Technology Management, Engineering, or a related field

Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

Ability to work full-time during the internship period

Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Additional Qualifications

Coursework or concentration in product management, digital transformation, or technology strategy

Relevant prior work, project, research, internship, volunteer, or leadership experience in product, technology, consulting, operations, or a related business function

Familiarity with agile delivery and product development processes

Experience using data, research, and structured analysis to develop recommendations or support decisions

Strong time management, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills

Ability to drive results in ambiguous and fast-paced environments
