PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. The construction began in May 2021, and first series of production commenced in 2023. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics’ fab in Dresden, Germany. The plant will also house R&D and training facilities.

Job Description

Manage and implement continuous improvement (CIP) initiatives for warehouse systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.

Support system-related improvement projects, including process optimization and automation (System CIP).

Provide hardware support for warehouse operations, including troubleshooting scanners, printers, and related devices (BST Projects).

Ensure smooth daily warehouse system operations, including monitoring system performance and resolving issues promptly.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams (IT & operations) to support system enhancements and issue resolution.

Perform root cause analysis for system or process failures and implement corrective actions.

Support SAP/warehouse system transactions, data accuracy, and inventory integrity.

Maintain proper documentation for system processes, changes, and improvements.

Train and guide users on system usage and best practices when required.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, IT, Engineering, or related field.

Basic understanding of warehouse operations or supply chain concepts (preferred but not mandatory).

Willingness to learn warehouse systems such as SAP & Power BI

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., data entry, simple analysis).

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsible, detail-oriented, and have a proactive attitude.
