Hatch is seeking an IT Service Desk Technician Intern. Reporting to the Shared Services group, you will support offices globally working from our Houtson, TX office location.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing an associate’s degree in in computer technology, information technology, computer science, or a relevant field

Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale

As the successful candidate, you will:

Provide IT support to Hatch employees including

Hardware support for desktop PC's

Software support for desktop PC's

Rebuilding and reconfiguration of PC’s

Application support for MS Office Suite

Operate Help Desk and provide over the phone support

You bring to the role:

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair all forms of PC related problems

Well-developed communication both written and oral skills

Any Microsoft Certification

A+ Certification

Any previous experience with Computer Support or Administration

Customer related skills experience

Competencies (knowledge, skill, attributes):

Good understanding of engineering and business fundamentals as they apply to engineering problems and projects

Ability to learn quickly and to take on new challenges

Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Shows critical and creative thinking and problem solving and brings forward solutions for our clients' toughest challenges

Perform assignments related to your sector

Assist with preparation of detailed design for projects

Support preparation of drawings from detailed notes and specifications

Coordination with other technicians/engineers on projects

Provide support to Senior Engineers and Designers as and when needed
