Join an international oil and gas company at the forefront of the energy sector's transformation. We are seeking a proactive and driven Business Analyst to join our Global Organizational Leadership Development (GOLD) program, working in close collaboration with members of our Executive Leadership Team (ELT). This role is a rare development opportunity as you will work closely with the ELT as they lead major company initiatives, engage senior leadership teams and connect with industry experts across all global geo-zones. (8 - 10 weeks internship program)
Responsibilities:
Support the ELT as they drive strategic objectives and important initiatives in all parts of a global organization.
Be called upon to perform critical analysis and provide insights aimed at implementing change and improving outcomes. Support the ELT by aiding in the communication and alignment of new initiatives and continuous improvement.
Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in managing communications within the executive suite.
Handle a challenging workload and international travel requirements effectively, ensuring timely results in a demanding environment.
What You’ll Do
Receive coaching and mentoring to understand our organization and projects.
Complete internal projects to identify business improvements and critical customer outcomes.
Learn about our systems and processes to assist with project completion.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and network with global business leaders.
Present your project outcomes to the Senior Leadership team.
Provide feedback at the conclusion of the internship.
Apply Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance.
What You’ll Bring
Currently enrolled in a full-time MBA program with 4-6 years of relevant professional experience post-graduation.
A degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business
Background in the energy industry, preferably within an international corporate setting.
Demonstrated analytical skills, particularly in Excel and other data analysis tools.
Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of effectively engaging with stakeholders at various levels.
Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment, with a commitment to achieving high goals and the resilience to meet the demands of extensive travel.
Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship or time restriction.
