Actuarial Intern – Life focuses on life, annuity, and long-term care work (pricing, valuation, and actuarial model transformation) with exposure to life product development, pricing, valuation, data analysis, assumption setting, and model methodology reviews. The internship includes six weeks of actuarial bootcamp and projects such as life/annuity pricing, M&A due diligence, cloud implementation, data engineering, and model transformation. Locations include Atlanta, Chicago, and Seattle. Compensation is weekly pay of USD 1,350–1,600. This is a hybrid role with remote work options; all interns should expect to be in their local office or in-office with clients at least three days per week, with anchor days to be identified. CPT/OPT are restricted forms of work authorization and visa sponsorship is not available.
