Actuarial interns will have a robust and rich corporate experience working closely with their manager and as an integral member of their assigned team. They will perform actuarial tasks (mathematical and higher clerical in nature), compile and categorize data, documenting and verifying factors used in computations such as those used in evaluating loss and expense reserves, preparing rate filings, schedules of statistics, financial statements, premiums and benefits, and establishing rating and pricing levels. Preferred knowledge includes Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic, Microsoft Access and SQL, or Python.
